The RecSports Office offers a wide range of programs from organized league play to informal drop-in events. There are five main areas of emphasis within the office:
Intramural Sports offers over 10 different sporting activities for UL Lafayette students to compete recreationally or in a more advanced competition environment-the choice is up to the captain that is forming the team.
Open recreation allows students to participate in sporting activities at their own leisure on a drop-in basis anytime that Bourgeois Hall is open.
The Aquatic Center features state of the art equipment that allows students to either exercise in the lap pool, or lounge around the leisure pool for a relax filled evening.
Club sports allow interested individuals to organize their own teams and compete against other universities and clubs in their division-usually requires more commitment than intramural sports.
Group X is a fitness program that allows students to bring other University students in group oriented classes to get a fun filled workout with certified instructors.
