The RecSports Office offers a wide range of programs from organized league play to informal drop-in events. There are five main areas of emphasis within the office:
Intramural Sports offers over 10 different sporting activities for UL Lafayette students to compete recreationally or in a more advanced competition environment.
Open recreation allows students to participate in sporting activities at their own leisure on a drop-in basis any time that Bourgeois Hall is open.
The Aquatic Center features state-of-the-art equipment that allows students to either exercise in the lap pool, or lounge around the leisure pool for a relax filled evening.
Club sports allow interested individuals to organize their own teams and compete against other universities and clubs in their division-usually requires more commitment than intramural sports.
Group X is a fitness program that allows students to bring other University students in group oriented classes to get a fun filled workout with certified instructors.
