Staying Active

UL Rec Sports takes pride in encouraging students to stay active. It is important to us that they try to include exercise in their everyday activities. We strive to promote a healthy lifestyle for teachers, students, and other staff of the university.

Aquatic Life

The Student Aquatic Center offers a place for relaxing in the sun by our leisure pool or testing your personal limits in our lap pool.

Ragin' Intramurals

UL Rec Sports offers a wide variety of Intramural Sports. So whether you are interested in flag football or beach volleyball, we've got just the thing for you. So gather your team together and get active!

Bourgeois Hall

Rec Sports offers a wide range of programs from organized league play to informal drop-in events. We have five ways for you to take part and enjoy Rec Sports:

Intramurals offers over 10 different sports leagues and tournaments for students to compete in recreationally or in a more advanced, competitive environment.

Open Recreation

Open recreation allows students to participate in sporting activities at their own leisure on a drop-in basis any time that Bourgeois Hall is open.

The Student Aquatic Center features state-of-the-art equipment that allows students to either exercise in the lap pool or lounge around the leisure pool for a relaxed evening.

Club Sports

Club sports allow interested individuals to organize their own teams and compete against other universities and clubs in their division-usually requires more commitment than intramural sports.

Group X

Group X is a fitness program that allows students to bring other University students in group oriented classes to get a fun filled workout with certified instructors.
