The Student Aquatic Center is located on the backside of Bourgeios Hall. The center offers following facilities:

8 lane 25 yard lap pool
Beach entry leisure pool with water features

POOL RENTALS

The Student Aquatic Center is available for after-hour rental by any student, faculty, or staff organizations of University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Swimming Lessons

Swim Lessons:
Session 1 June 14 - 24, Registration: March 29 - May 28
Session 2 July 12 - 22, Registration: March 29 - June 25

Times for all Sessions:
Levels 1-2    8:00-8:45am
Levels 3-4    9:00-9:45am
Levels 5-6    Private Only

Cost:
$75 per session for the first child
$65 per session for each additional sibling

Adults: Private Only
We are now offering private lessons to UL students, faculty, and staff, and their children as well as the public. Private lessons are upon the availability of staff. You will be assigned a personal instructor, and then you set your schedule according to your availability.

UL Students: $15 per half hour lesson
Non-UL Students: $20 per half hour lesson

2010 Iron Swim Challenge

Challenge yourself to swim 2.4 miles in just ONE day!

Work-outs will be posted at the Aquatic Center twice a week leading to a 2.4 mile Iron Swim Day on April 30, 2010.

T-Shirts upon Completion!

Work-outs will be posted beginning March 1, 2010!
